Learn to create you own cyanotype blue prints from plants and explore history of one of the earliest photographic processes!
This hands-on, two and half hour workshop in Southwark, London will introduce you to the basics of the cyanotype printmaking process discovered in 1842 using watercolour paper, cyanotype paint and UV light to create their own botanical images. This process allows one to create beautiful floral prussian blue prints. Whether you are a photography enthusiast or just want to spend day in creative and educational way, join me for this evening workshop with your friends or kids and learn about photographic history and chemistry (non-toxic).
ABROTYPE STUDIO PORTRAITS
Private studio portraits are available to anyone by prior arrangement at my home studio in London, Hanger Lane. The photo session takes about 30-45 min. and ends with an Ambrotype - positive photograph on 3 mm black glass ready to frame, size: 18x24 cm. Couples and groups are welcome. Dates are flexible, feel free to contact me to ask for details, prices and exact location.
Workshops, talks, presentations
I am experience to provide workshops, technique presentations, talk for a group (6) or individual-there are several scenario suited according to the needs. Participants of my workshops can experience the whole process themselves from the beginning to the end or be a subjects of so called One-day portrait studio. I can provided workshops for festivals and events as well. Currently based in London but able to travel. Larger groups are also possible. Feel free to contact me for prices, details and dates.
I am also able to provide workshops for individual, school or festivals and events regarding other old photographic techniques like cyanotype, gum bichromate, luxography, pinhole photography etc.
