For Valentine’s Day 26, I’m opening my Earl’s Court studio for a romantic trip down memory lane with a day of photography steeped in silver, light, and history.
Join me for a Wet Plate Collodion Portrait Open Studio—a rare opportunity to experience one of the oldest photographic processes. Using the timeless wet plate collodion technique, I will craft your portrait on tin, capturing a single, luminous moment through this exquisite hand crafted method.
Each sitting lasts 30 minutes and results in one unique 5x7 inch portrait on tin. This is a chance to own or gift a piece of photographic history created at material cost of £80 per person. Book ahead to secure one of 8 spots between 11-6pm at your preferred time.
Visitors are welcome throughout the day without prior booking for a glimpse into my practice which is rooted in Victorian and experimental processes. I will be showing examples of recent projects and work in progress alongside the portrait sessions. Portrait spaces are first-come, first-served and likely to sell out before the day.
